Product Overview
A heavy-duty diaphragm pump built for wildfire suppression and remote field operations. Unlike centrifugal designs, the diaphragm chamber handles muddy, debris-laden water without clogging - critical when drawing from streams, ponds, or stagnant sources near the fire line.
The gasoline engine drives a crankshaft and connecting rod, moving the rubber/Teflon diaphragm back and forth. As the diaphragm retracts, the chamber expands and creates negative pressure, opening the inlet valve to draw water in. As it expands, the chamber compresses, closing the inlet and opening the outlet to push water out. The cycle repeats continuously, delivering steady high-pressure flow with no rotating seals to leak or wear.
