Forest single-person firefighting equipment plays a critical role in early-stage forest fire suppression. Its performance reliability directly affects firefighting efficiency and operator safety. Therefore, systematic performance testing is required before deployment and during use to ensure stable operation in complex environments.
First, power system testing is the fundamental step. The start-up performance, stable output capability, and continuous operating condition of the engine or battery pack must be evaluated. Through no-load and load tests, operators assess whether the power output is stable and whether issues such as difficult starting, power degradation, or abnormal vibration exist, ensuring the equipment is suitable for field operation.
Second, the water or air supply system is a core testing component. For water-based equipment, pump pressure output, flow stability, and water intake efficiency must be tested. For air-based systems, fan speed, air pressure strength, and airflow stability are evaluated. This step ensures that the extinguishing medium output meets design standards for effective firefighting.
Third, spraying system performance is also critical. The nozzle and spray gun must be checked for blockages, leakage, or uneven atomization. The switching between straight-stream and mist modes should be smooth, and spray distance and coverage range must be tested to ensure effective fire suppression capability in real conditions.
In addition, sealing and pressure resistance tests are essential. Pipelines, connectors, and water tanks must undergo pressure testing to detect leaks or structural deformation, ensuring safety and stability under high-pressure operation.
System stability testing is also required. The equipment should be operated in simulated high-temperature, high-humidity, or dusty environments to evaluate continuous working capability and failure rate, assessing its environmental adaptability and reliability.
