In fixed-site or vehicle-based operations, heavier but more powerful systems can be selected to enhance overall firefighting capability.
Water source adaptability is another key consideration. In areas with limited water resources, equipment with self-priming capability or compatibility with multiple water sources should be chosen to ensure operational flexibility. Tank capacity should also be selected based on the expected duration of operations to avoid interruptions due to water shortage.
In addition, safety and ease of operation should not be overlooked. High-quality equipment should feature stable pressure control systems, overload protection, and ergonomic design, enabling firefighters to operate safely and efficiently in high-temperature and smoke-filled environments.
Finally, maintenance cost and reliability should be considered. Equipment with simple structure, easy maintenance, and strong durability is more suitable for long-term use and large-scale deployment, helping to reduce overall operational costs.
